The Hospital Research Foundation is pleased to invite applications from researchers for its inaugural ‘Your Choice’ Patient Impact Grant Round.
For the first time, THRF has asked our loyal supporters to nominate the areas of medical research and patient care they would like THRF to fund with a specific grant round!
Supporters selected the two areas of healthcare that matter most to them, resulting in two areas of research for this grant round: aged care and cancer patient support.
Applications are now open for the two grants, each worth $200,000, with the funding to commence in July 2019 for a 12-month project.
“We are excited to be able to offer grants in areas that are most important to our community,” THRF CEO Paul Flynn said.
“All applications will undergo an initial assessment by a THRF internal technical committee and the shortlisted proposals will be communicated to THRF supporters who will then cast their final vote.”
“Targeting aged care and cancer patient support through these grants will have a huge impact for our loved ones.
“We are grateful for the ongoing support of our donors and enjoy giving them the opportunity to shape the work we do.
Applications close 4pm on Friday 15 March 2019.
