Providing a home away from home for country cancer patients and their families

A cancer diagnosis is heartbreaking, and for country cancer patients, leaving their support networks and travelling to Adelaide for treatment can be a burden both emotionally and financially.

The Hospital Research Foundation Group’s Under Our Roof accommodation eases this burden with four family-style homes for country patients and their families to stay while receiving cancer treatment. These homes encourage patients to have their support networks around them, keeping everyone together during challenging and difficult times.

Under Our Roof homes have been made possible through the generous fundraising efforts of our community and corporate partners Jones Radiology.
