Past recipient of a THRF PhD Scholarship, Dr Katharina Richter, has made ground-breaking developments in treating Chronic Rhinosinusitis

The Hospital Research Foundation is excited to be offering 10 PhD Scholarships in 2019 for students focusing on clinical and scientific medical research.

Applications are now open for the 10 scholarships worth $32,000 per annum (for three years) to support students commencing their PhD at a South Australian university in Semester 1, 2019.

“Five of these scholarships will be awarded to basic science research and the other five awarded to clinical research,” THRF CEO Paul Flynn said.

“It is a great opportunity for students who are focusing their research on finding cures and improving care in the community.

“We’re excited to be offering these 10 scholarships which would not be possible without the ongoing support of our donors and ticket buyers in the Hospital Research Home Lottery.”

Applications close 4pm on Friday, October 12.
