Each year The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) proudly provides financial support to vital medical and clinical research teams and individuals whose endeavours translate into improved treatments and healthcare outcomes for the Australian community.
We are delighted to announce the recipients of THRF’s 2017 Grant Funding Round at the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI) and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH). Read all about these exciting research projects.
Thanks to THRF’s generous community of donors and ticket buyers in the Hospital Research Home Lottery, we’ve been able to provide a total 2017 grant funding round into South Australian Hospitals and research institutions of over $6.0 million, targeted at finding cures and improving care for all in our community. Of this, $2.7 million is being awarded to researchers at TQEH and BHI, which is THRF’s largest grant round at these facilities to date.
THRF’s ability to enhance the health and wellbeing of your family, friends and the broader community through the provision of improved treatments and care informed by the latest research outcomes continues to grow. Thank you to THRF donors, supporters, partners and researchers for making this research possible and a priority in your lives.
