Host a Fundraising Event

Hosting your own community fundraising event or activity is a fun and rewarding way to support the work carried out by the researchers at The Basil Hetzel Institute for Medical Research and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Your fundraising event or activity can be as simple or elaborate as you like. You are only limited by your imagination (and our ethical guidelines of course).

We have a team of passionate and experienced people dedicated to helping you with your community fundraiser and ensuring that it is a huge success. Our aim is to engage local communities and motivate individuals in our mission to fund better diagnosis and treatment for some of the world’s worst diseases.

Community fundraising is an essential source of awareness and income to The Hospital Research Foundation and it is also one of the most rewarding ways to get involved and show your support. We will provide you with the guidelines, the support and the expertise to ensure that your event is a success. Together we can make a difference!

Some great ideas to raise money for The Hospital Research Foundation include:

  • Dinner dances
  • Golf days
  • Casual days
  • Raffles
  • Garage or car boot sales
  • Ask friends to make a donation in lieu of a gift for your special occasion

Download our 110 Fundraising Ideas document for more fantastic ideas! We also have a 10 Steps for Success document to help you.
