The Hospital Research Foundation’s ‘Healthy at Work’ series is designed to help make your work life healthier by providing you with some easy exercises to do on the job.
There has been significant research undertaken which has found that sitting is hazardous to our health. However, with many people working in sedentary, desk-bound jobs, sitting is largely unavoidable!
One way we can combat the negative health affects of sitting at work is to break up our sitting time. The great thing about the exercises we’ll show you is that they are quick and easy to do, and will go a long way in counteracting the negative consequences associated with desk-bound jobs.
