Australian Breast Cancer Research (ABCR) collaborates with The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) to fund vital breast cancer research at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research.
In conjunction with THRF, ABCR was developed to enable those individuals passionate about the area of breast cancer research to support this area specifically.
ABCR is focused on supporting research into the detection, management and treatment of breast cancer and in turn, help reduce the impact of this cancer upon Australian families. The research funded is both clinical and laboratory based.
