The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) has announced applications for 2012 Grant Funding are now available.
THRF Chief Executive Paul Flynn says “we have finalised our funding commitments for 2012 and would now invite suitable candidates to apply.”
“The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Basil Hetzel Institute are renowned for their world-class translational health and medical research. We are pleased to offer financial support that ensures not only the perpetuation of significant projects but which also fosters the research talent of tomorrow through student scholarship funding,” Paul said.

Please note that THRF has allocated an amount to a funding pool from which successful applications will be funded. Only those Expressions of Interest (EOI) deemed to be of outstanding quality will proceed to Step Two – Application stage.
All Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the TQEH Research Secretariat (DX 465101) by 12.00 noon on 10 January 2012. No late applications will be received. Please also note the requirement of Professor Guy Maddern, Director of Research, TQEH, to endorse an EOI application prior to submission to the Secretariat.
